The President sits down on one of the sofas in the office and motions toward the other one. "Please, sit."
The Party returns their greetings and leads them to their palace where the Emperor sits on a throne ,of black prismatic crystal, waiting for the party.
"Welcome to Hokaidoi, now tell me your purpose here envoys of Drakonaris, I do wonder how your nation came to being I have been absent from this world for so long.... Forgive me you did not come here to listen to the ramblings of an old man now come,"
He beckons them to follow him as they enter a grand hall unlike what they have ever scene.
"Now tell me why you have come..."
"of course" the ambassador sits. His aides put the bags down, pass him a data pad, and glass of water before sitting themselves. The ambassador takes a sip from his glass and turns back to the president ready to begin.
Paralogica
The President pours himself a glass of water before starting. "I know that one does not visit a foreign nation without any goal in mind, np matter the purpose. So, tell me Ambassador, what is your most pressing priority in visiting Paralogica at the moment?"
"Straight to the point I see, excellent. We have come seeking first to formalize diplomatic relations with your nation, construction of an embassy and exchange of ambassadors to promote further negotiations in the future and then to begin right away if you are amenable to negotiate some form of bilateral trade agreement. The world thrives by cooperation and mutual exchange and as those ties bridge the cultural barriers between nations so too do they bring us ever closer to peace a world thriving under the dragons wings. But forgive me you already know the value of cooperation or we would not be here.
Lets get down to business. Drakonaris leads the world in many fields especially those reliant on scientific knowledge and technology. Our biotechnology industries particularly focused around environmentally sustainable infrastructure are state of the art creating plant based plastics building materials and biofuel as well as genetically modifying plants and animals to suit our needs. We also create all manner of software and hardware to sell to the world from computers and phones for personal use to complex surveillance systems and simulation technology for military and government use. Beyond that we create pharmaceuticals antibiotics, painkillers, psychologically affecting medicines, as well as a host of other products. These can only be sold to licensed medical providers so your government hospital system presumably.
Drakonaris is also a haven for tourists and we are always looking for opportunities to attract new visitors. An agreement that would allow us to advertise in your nation to draw visitors to ours could be very beneficial and of course if you desired we could do the same for you. I know this is a lot and you may not be accustomed to diplomacy. An outline of our general agreement specifications is here along with the associated terms and conditions"
He passes the president the datapad he has in his hand
"The question I have for you I suppose is this we have told you what we have, what do you want? and what would you be willing to offer to us?"
Paralogica
The ambassador and his aides listen patiently to what the old man says and walk with him. The ambassador perks up a bit as he asks the question and turns to focus on the man before answering "We have come here to establish diplomatic relations that is the simple answer. Cooperation and trade can only be good for our two nations and they pave a path towards bringing our two peoples closer together. We have products your people could no doubt use and we are always looking for new sources of materials to make everything our people need. Beyond that if your people require developmental aid we are well positioned to assist you as our economy is particularly strong right now. The question remains what of you? What are your goals in opening your nation to the world?"
"(Good day to you too gentleman, it is refreshing to see someone speak our great tounge. We do not know of what empire or emperor you belong to, but we trade with all!)"The captain would shake the old man's hand. The Katten would begin taking the stuff and presenting it to the old man and his guards.
"(We have everything to trade. Perhaps you're interested in our weaponry. Easy to load and very powerful, the Katuschet T-S is the weapon of choice! Or perhaps you're interested in something for the lady back home.)" Three kattens would stack themselves on top of eachother and present a fancy suit and another three a long and puffy dress.
"(Our clothes are of the highest quality, as we never like to dissappoint. These suits and dresses have been the top choice of many nobles and workers alike. And for you my friends, being one of our only customers in years, we can throw in a parfume of your choice, to impress the empress of your life.)"He'd pull out a few ornate glasses of parfume.
"(But if you don't mind me asking, the flags you fly are foreign, and thy not match or records of any of our former colonies here nor do you speak a familial tounge. Whomst do you belong to?)"
The President takes a sip from his glass and speaks. "What your nation has to offer us is most definitely of interest to us, especially in the way of computer hardware and biotechnology. Paralogica has much to offer in the way of trade as well. With the Twenty Year Plan, much focus was put on connecting our nation, and as such we invested heavily in public transportation and a reliable, yet non-invasive highway system. As such, we have much to offer when it comes to auto parts and the necessary materials to engineer trains. Not to mention, our strategically zoned factories are high quality and capable of production at high speeds, and their also adaptable to whatever purpose may be required of them.
"As such, we not only offer the materials mentioned before, but also the potential for labor. We obviously pay respect to the rights of our workers, with labor laws being progressive and union-friendly. We are also adamant about holding companies accountable when they break those laws, and investigations are handled carefully and meticulously.
"As for setting up an embassy and exchanging Ambassadors, we are in the process of finding Ambassadors for nations that make contact with us, though the ward that this Palace is located in has been designated for government purposes, and as such an embassy can be easily constructed for your nation here.
"And finally, for the question of tourism, we would absolutely love it if you advertised our country as a tourist destination, as we have many cities fit for such activity, Paralogica City being an obvious example. Of course, we will definitely advertise tourism for Drakonaris as well. I'm sure many companies will jump at the opportunity to create ways for tourists to travel, with government support and regulation, of course. As such, you can expect the fruits of those advertisements to come quickly."
The President takes another sip of water, looking at the Ambassador for a response.
Kattenstaad
The Drakonarian generals stand back allowing them to have their moment before attempting to continue
"With all due respect your majesty we have much to discuss. The nation has been in turmoil for the past few days your majesty and you can no longer stand by silently. Now that martial law is revoked in most of the nation it is the perfect time to lay out your vision for the future, make sure the people know that the forces that took your mother have not defeated you, and reaffirm your commitment to Elybia's allies so the people know we have your trust as we continue to safeguard your interests at home and abroad." The generals turn to Enjel hoping she will understand or that Gerald will explain it to her.
Majice Perris paces in his office back and forth, he stops as the wing of a pigeon catches his eye. He calls to it from the tower window, and it gently lands on his shoulder dropping its note into his hands.
"Oh wonderful, our first reply from a foreign nation. And Wilde thought you guys would get lost, not with the help of my magic of course."
He reads through the note, "Dragons eh? Haven't seen any of those in a few decades. Now my little friend," He places the pigeon gently on his desk as he sits down to write a reply, "You wait right there."
He sits down and grabs his quill, writing a reply.
"Dear Hasmodeus Sharn,
We are oh so very happy to hear from another nation! Included with this note is a map to the location of Lord Wilde's castle. I will be here to welcome your delegation with open arms, and hope our discussions are fruitful. Oh and we love dragons here.
Sincerely, Majice Perris
Duke of the house Avion
Head of Foriegn Relations"
He seals the letter with a wax seal and hands it off the the pigeon on his desk. "Go along now, I'm sure they're expecting you."
The pigeon takes off, heading back to Drakonaris with its note
Kattenstaad
The ambassadors, and seamen on the boat look on in a mixture of astonishment and confusion before doubling over laughing for the second time that day.
Slowly with halting speech the man begins to translate explaining what is going on to those watching.
Once he finishes and the assembled listeners get over their fits of laughter the ambassadors attempt to compose a reply which the old man translates into katten
("We are ambassadors from the Democratic Republic of Drakonaris a nation not far from here. You are in the waters our nation owns. We do not wish to trade with you since the people here are soldiers and diplomats but if you follow us back to our port you will be allowed to trade with our people there. I am sure they will be quite interested in the goods you have to sell. We would also like to know more about your nation if you would be willing to tell us.)
The ambassadors finish delivering their message but the old man does not step back instead he continues speaking to the Katten
(I have heard much of your people and it is incredible to meet you in person if you have time I would personally like to inspect some of the trinkets you have for sale)
The ambassadors look at the old man questioningly but he waves them off "let an old man have his fun I have studied these little guys for my whole life and to see them here now..." he choaks up and a small tear comes down his face he breaks into a smile.
"Auf meziens" he says getting back in his ship and heading towards shore as the ambassadors head back to the Wyvern and beckon for the Katten ship to follow them as they follow the smaller ship towards the Drakonarian coast.
Kattenstaad
"She lost her mother not even a day ago! She is in no state discuss anything with you larkia's!
Gerald says
"Fa... don't... it's ok. I am sad. I am grieving, but before I think of myself, I must ensure that elybia don't tear itself apart
Enjel says. Her tone is sad, but bit firm. Gerald was about to protest, but chooses not to and instead says
"You're right, sweetie"
The ambassador suppressed a momentary look of distaste at the mention of companies but his cheerful demeanor returned almost instantly
"I see, you have much to offer and the standards you hold yourselves to is admirable almost Drakonarian. Our nation is crisscrossed by rivers which account for the bulk of our transportation and our domestic boat production is fairly strong right now. We do have railroads that connect us to our neighboring nations so perhaps we can arrange for the import of some of your railroad cars. In terms of other agreements sale of bio and information tech as well as tourism advertising in each others nations would be most beneficial.
The only other thing we would bring up is the possibility of investment. Despite your nations ideological framework you show true promise as a developing power on the world stage. We would consider loaning you money and giving you reduced prices on some of our goods in exchange for being able to gain rights to some of your natural resources. That way you can continue your developmental plans with more money to spend and we with already existing infrastructure can harness some of your natural resources to create products that would be sold to you at reduced prices. If you have any gold, silicon, copper, zinc these would be particularly useful.
Of course a routine non aggression pact is required of course for all of these agreements simply so we know you are not going to turn our technology or resources against us once we give them to you. That won't be a problem will it?"
The ambassador turns to the President waiting to hear his reply.
Paralogica
"yes this is Deputy Premier Afir good of you to get back to us" he says his tone a mix between bored and mildly irritated "our riders will be coming around to collect the dragon soon please try not to kill it before we get there otherwise I can't guarantee how the riders will take it and that base from what I have heard is quite nice and would be a shame to burn." the deputy premier hangs up the phone on the President and puts in a quick call to dragon rider command asking them to send a few herder riders to collect the dragon and bring it back.
about an hour later sentries near zion-1 can see a wing of riders on gray dragons coming towards the base fast.
-----------
"What was that? Ah yes magic in Drakonaris right" the operative says taking his eyes off the dragon shaped door to level five wearily "while most residents of Drakonaris are human and thus do not posses the natural capability to harness magic our land is infused with it through the presence of the Dragons. As our head scientist will show you we have several plant samples from the preserves which are infused through sustained contact with dragons having grown near their lair. I understand they posses certain elemental properties though our head scientist can certainly tell you more. Our people do have the ability to sense magic at short range however since we grow up in a land infused with it." The operative again makes a furtive glance towards the door to level 5.
"Anyway I should return to my duties I am supposed to be making sure the scientists are performing their duties appropriately and are not being interfered with. I must go." The agent turns and walks away leaving the head researcher alone for the moment.
With GMR starting to open its relations with nations, they have requested a meeting with a diplomat from Paralogica in the GMR parliament with direct orders from the countries leader. GMR foreign relations, GMR council and the Leader await an answer to their request. Meanwhile a Military training vessel out of fuel and all radio contact gone out due too a storm crashes and grounds really loudly onto a land unknown to them, after the sailors come out to assess the damage and to make temporary a camp, they see people and flags with cats on them belonging to Kattenstaad with some taking their rifles and one on the ship running and getting on the two man handled chain gun, with them all not knowing if the people are there to harm them.
Paralogica
"I am sorry for your loss your majesty" the general replies "and yours sir" he says looking at Gerald "but the young lady is right, whatever happens the kingdom must come first and the people look to you for leadership. You are not alone either your majesty, we are here to help and as you know our government supported your mother and father during their reign and will do nothing less for you."
The capitol of Tinbya Sierjan, through the window, appears to look similarly to a napoleonic-era palace of some sort. Possessing a grand central dome-like structure incased in various other smaller structures connected by walls, with most of the walls appearing to be made of some kind of light grey stone with black painted contour lines. The capitol building also has many square-shaped windows along it's walls, with the main structures having larger windows with curved arches at the top, with what appears to be the front of said structure having a large balcony which could easily fit forty people. Each structure is topped with a black roof, with the only domed roofs being the central structure and the one with the balcony. With each structure also having an incredibly upscaled version of Tinbya Sierjan's flag, with the outer six having it face away from the capitol and the innermost one having an even larger flag hoisted straight up into the air.
Outside said structure is a large group of people waiting, with the limousine growing closer to the crowd, most of the group appearing to be of draconic heritage in some way. The limousine pulls into an archway with a large steel gate in which one of the guards, all of which are in honor guard uniform, shows his watch to the convoy, in which the watch's screen turns green and the gate is opened by the same guard. Once inside the building the Chancellor leads you to the balcony, with a great many honor guards following, once on the balcony there are multiple individuals in suits similar to the Chancellors but with different patches on them.
"These are the leaders of each of the Communes of Tinbya Sierjan, who have eagerly been awaiting your arrival." The Chancellor says, after making sure the microphones on the podium aren't turned on. "Tell me when you're ready, and we can get the signing underway."
The President smiles. "No, that will not be a problem at all. Our land does have a nice amount of gold, zinc and silicon, silicon and gold especially. We would be willing to give you fifteen percent of our output with those resources every quarter in exchange for your listed conditions. As thanks for reduced pricing for products made with those resources, we see it fit to give you reduced pricing for use of designated key ports in key coastal cities in Paralogica as well, proportional to reduced pricing given on said products, of course. Are there any issues with this arrangement?"
"The people must be ensured that the situation is under control. I first need to give a speech to the people before doing anything else"
This time the pigeon is more expected as it returns to the commissariat office a few days later the secretary takes the note and feeling a bit silly doing so, instructs the bird to wait while she brings it inside.
As she enters the commissar speaks "Ah yes you have the reply, good bring it here I am anxious to read what these bird messenger folks say"
The secretary brings the note over for the commissar to inspect and he picks up his glasses puts them on and brings the note close to his face so he can read it. After looking it over for a few seconds he smiles and picks up the phone.
"Hi yes this is the Commissar for Foreign Affairs I need you to send some riders to accompany the delegation to visit Lastus Mckinnon, yes I am aware a lot are out at the moment but this is another new nation and the possibilities of first contact are incredible."
inaudible speech from the other side
"Yes I am sure this is a nation they sent us a message and apparently have their own foreign affairs people. No I don't know why their nation name sounds like the name of a person its something we can ask once our diplomats get there but they can only come if we get some riders to accompany and transport them."
more low speech from the other side of the phone
"Alright well look you can tell the Dragonborn I will deal with our friend at armed forces myself if he has any concerns right now I want to get this mission airborne"
a bit more talking then the commissar hangs up.
"Melinda tell the ambassadors we need to prep for a mission I want them airborne in half an hour"
The secretary Melinda leaves and the ambassador begins to prepare a response for the note.
He scribbles, coming soon on the note and walks out to tie it to the leg of the bird before sending it off.
About an hour after the bird arrives at the tower red winged shapes can be seen streaking through the clouds heading towards Lastus. People in Paralogica and Kattenstaad will see the dragons fly over them but not stop as they head for the castle marked on the map.
Finally they arrive dismounting at the entrance to the castle and looking around to see if there is anyone there to meet them.
The riders land near the mouth of the fake rock-cliff entrance, the lone guard not too surprised and opened the entrance. It revealed a titanic sleeping dragon, its scales look chipped and large parts were exposed as they were taken long ago. The dragon looked like it had suffered severe battle wounds with multiple scars covering entire body, cracked, burned, and some gaping. "This big f*cker took a beating before we could subdue it, but its kicking." The guard explained as no one meets the riders outside. The dragon was hastily left on the doorsteps of the gates. "Well its your problem now." He goes back reading a magazine.
The general takes out his radio and contacts the command headquarters. Soon an announcement is blaring across the city via the amplification systems and the nation via radio "please tune in, in the next few minutes as Queen Enjel delivers her first public address since her mother's untimely death"
The generals then turn to Enjel "you know what to say, correct?" One of them asks. "Reassure the nation, talk about your plan for recovery, remind them they can trust us-"
"and don't forget to add that we are sending the shipments of food" another jumps in cutting off his comrade "the staff at the embassy have been insisting for the last couple of days that we announce the shipments of food that are being sent to relieve your famine"
"right that too" the original general says as they all turn back to Enjel awaiting acknowledgement that she is ready.
"I am ready Chancellor" the Premier says turning towards the dragonborn below and pulling the pad out of his suit containing his remarks.
Tinbya Sierjan
Secretary Harold of Foreign Affairs has finished all of his paperwork for the day and is enjoying a rare break when his secretary, Linda, bursts into his office. "Secretary, we have major word."
The Secretary sighs and looks at Linda before taking a sip of coffee and speaking. "Well, I guess we should hear it then."
Linda walks up to his desk. "There's another nation that's coming out of isolation."
Secretary Harold sighs again. "I take it this one has a special twist to it as well?"
Linda nods. "Not only are they coming out of isolation, they're also one of our neighbors. And they're requesting to see us specifically."
The Secretary looks at Linda in silence for a bit before speaking. "Well, I can't attend to this until I'm sure that the situation with Lastus McKinnon is in safe hands. Find an Ambassador for this nation right away and assemble a delegation with them in it as soon as possible."
Linda nods again before leaving. "Yes, Secretary."
Finally alone in his office, the Secretary sighs. "I hope that our country is able to handle the higher influx of diplomatic interactions with other countries. I'd hate to see everything we've built ruined because we've bit more than we can chew."
A few days later, the newly appointed Ambadsador for Greater Military Rule walks the halls of the Deparment of Foreign Affairs and enters Secretary Harold's office, where the Secretary and Linda await him. The Secretary speaks. "I'm glad we were able to find someone on short notice. Welcome, Lorenzo Gonzalez."
Ambassador Gonzalez smiles and walks up to the Secretary, reaching out his hand to shake. "I am honored to hold this position, especially as this is the first contact we've had with this new nation. I've already taken the liberty of drafting a reply based on the information I've been given. If you want to review it, I would highly appreciate it."
The Secretary shakes his head and motions to Linda. "No need. I'll have it sent as the official reply. I have faith in Linda's ability to make things happen in a short amount of time. As such, I have faith in your abilities as a diplomat."
The Ambassador chuckles. "Why, thank you. Then, I take it that a delegation has been assembled for me to travel with?"
The Secretary nods. "Yes, you will be traveling with an assembled delegation of experienced military officials, one being a Navy Admiral, on one of our best battleships: the PFS Toubou."
Ambassador Gonzalez has a look of satisfaction. "Okay. And when do I leave?"
The Secretary grins. "Right away."
The Ambassador nods. "Alright. I'll pack and meet the delegation right away then."
After the Ambassador leaves with the delegation, Linda does the paperwork to submit Ambassador Gonzalez's response with the seal of the Paralogica Department of Foreign Affairs:
"Dear Council of General Military Rule,
Paralogica has heard your request and has sent a delegation to your capital city to meet with your leaders. Be prepared to meet them within the next week.
Sincerely,
Department of Foreign Affairs of Paralogica."
with the news and update the GMR leaders and parliament are readied for the visit, the council meets to talk security missions and some military posts to protect against any kind of terror or rebel attack, the leader of the Nation in his home starts personally preparing for the meeting not knowing the delegations response to the Militant-Socialist/communist order that the nation has and the weird and unnatural name. though his worries are cut short when he is approached by his young daughter who wants pancakes and decides to worry and prepare later. the parliament states that pro-militarist and anti pacifist posters shall stay up during the delegations visit after the local law enforcement suggested taking them down during the delegations visit.
Paralogica
Post self-deleted by Drakonaris.
This will be acceptable to us. The ambassador looked down at his pad for a moment typing out the details of the agreement.
"alright then here is our proposal" the ambassador hands the pad to the President to read

"It is quite extensive and should cover the full range of our transactions and diplomatic agreements for the moment. The only proviso I did not add was loans since I did not know how much you require. Please let me know what you think and if there is anything else you believe it would be beneficial to add"
Paralogica
We are pleased to announce the Democratic Republic of Drakonaris has concluded and agreement with the Dalek-Empire. We will be facilitating the sale of biotechnology including green building materials while they will be ensuring that we get the copper necessary to supply our information technology industry. This will be done without tariffs and at reasonable prices for both sides.
"I understand, and please just call me enjel. I am not a big fan of... umm...
"Honorifics?"
Gerald asks
"Yes. I am not a big fan of Honorifics. I am ready"
Enjel says
As the High Commands of both nations prepare and conduct an alliance wide war game simulation, 75,000 Anerican Soldiers were mobilized to be moved into Dalek territory. Along with hundreds of tons of war material supplied via shipping and cargo drops.
"Alright we understand, Enjel" the generals say
and they walk with their troops, the royal guards following Enjel and Gerald to where they want to give the speech.
The ship follows the foreigners to their coast, gawking at the sheer size of their buildings. But they immidietly turn to the ports busy with people and celebrate. They begin to arrange rugs with products and signs with prices.
"(This is good! Karl get the pigeon, we need to send a message back to the king.)" As another katten brought a pigeon, and the captain begun writing. After attaching the letter to a pigeon, he'd be sent away without anyone noticing.
The people look in wonder at the Katten some coming over to curiously inspect the wares or try to pat the Katten. While this is happening the translator and the ambassadors go to find the captain and arrive just in time to see the pigeon fly off.
The ambassador begins to speak looking to the older man to translate
(It is obvious this is the first time your people have visited our shores and we welcome you. Our government is wondering if perhaps we might be able to visit you to learn more about your people and make even more deals can you ask them?)
The ambassador now waits seeing what the katten captain will do next
Kattenstaad
The President reads over the digital document and nods. "Yes, everything seems to be in order. I will need to confer with the High Chamber of my nation's Federal Diet to confirm the agreement, but that should not be a hindrance to its ratification. Our government and people are mostly unified right now since we're still focused on recovering from the Great Collapse. As such, I'm sure they'll see the benefits this agreement brings."
The President signs the datapad and hands it back to the Ambassador. "In the meantime, I shall sign the agreement and then pass it on to the High Chamber for their final approval. Oh, and about the loans, that is a matter for the High Chamber to decide as well, since all monetary policy concerning our government is in their hands to decide and delegate."
"I need everyone except fa to step away from the balcony"
*enjel says*
The generals step back a bit still standing behind Enjel so the people can see them but not right next to her on the balcony. They nod to signal to her she can begin.
"Alright then, perfect. Our ship will remain in port until the agreement receives final approval so I can discuss the terms of loans with your high chamber. If possible perhaps I will arrange quarters somewhere in the city so I can remain to oversee embassy construction and the carrying out of the rest of the provisions of this treaty. I look forward to having the chance to meet with you again soon Mr. President, may this be the first of many profitable agreements between our peoples"
The ambassador rises from the couch shakes hands with President Ferris and turns to leave his aides collecting the rest of his stuff as they make their way out of the palace and back to the ship where the admiral is waiting.
The ambassador sends a report back along with a copy of the proposed agreement to the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Premier in Alinor for final ratification of the agreement by the central committee. Then he takes a much needed rest awaiting communication from the High Chamber in the next few days.
Paralogica
"Ehem. Hello. I know it seems like all hope is Lost, that life is no longer worth living.. I know you are devastated, but you can't let that break you! You are elybians! You are a strong and proud people who have for millions of years refused let anyone break you! Even after being banished from elysium by my father, you rose in defiance! Refusing to let him break you as he broke your sisters and brothers! Drakonaris has agreed to aid us with food, and protection. I know you don't fully trust them, and neither do I, but my mother trusted them, so I ask of you to give them a chance to prove their loyalty to elybia. I will soon become queen, and when I am coronated, I will ensure that together, we can make elybia a better place, for all species. Glory to goldia! Glory to the elybian people!"
The generals clap for Enjel and as she steps back the leader of the Drakonarian protectorate army General Findarion steps up to the mic
he turns and whispers for someone to translate for him before he starts
"People of Elybia, there is nothing I can say that would match what your new queen has just said and I am no speaker so I will only add this. The people of Drakonaris are with you. As our soldiers have hunted the rebels that threatened your homes and as they seek the queens murderer now the armed forces of Drakonaris will always stand as a bulwark, the shield of Elybia so that you may grow strong and prosperous free of fear. We have proven our loyalty so far and we hope to prove it again, all we ask is that you support us and give us the chance to do the work we do to protect and support you. Thank you!"
the generals along with their soldiers head inside and await Enjel and Gerald to follow.
The Emperor sits down listening to the ambassador, he pauses then clears his throat "I suppose I revealed Hokaidoi because isolation is no longer beneficial and the world is changing this was inevitable sooner or later. It has been determined that trade and relationships with the other nations of the world is needed to acquire new resources we simply can't source here whether that be to the climate, technology or whatever it may be. I of course intend to gain what we need whether that be through diplomacy or force for the benefit of my nation." He stands up once again having to tilt his head downwards to look at the ambassador awaiting their response.
Kattenstaad
"Of course" the ambassador looks momentarily uncomfortable at the thinly veiled threat but regains his composure quickly "That is a basis for productive and mutually beneficial relationships. Tell me what is it your people need in terms of resources and equally importantly what can you offer?"
The ambassador looks up at the emperor curious as to what he will reply and determined not to be intimidated by the mans obvious attempts to assert strength.
The Emperor smirks and turns around, the ambassador then notices a lump strange purple crystal that is placed in a pedestal of pure gold sat on the desk the Emperor is stood before. "The people specifically the non Nuldin species need pharmaceuticals due to my species biology medicine etc was never required however that is not the same for the other species. In return we can do a multitude of agricultural products, weapons, electronics and a many other things." He turns around his previously red eyes now a glowing purple he gently lifts his hand opening it as the crystal fly's into his hand he looks at it intently awaiting the ambassadors response.
Kattenstaad
President Ferris sinks into his couch and looks at one of the young men standing in his office. "Jeremy, please arrange for a room for the Ambassador at the Geisha Hotel. Diplomat Suite, of course. Make sure he gets a nice view too. Oh, also let Vice President Ishida know that the agreement is going to the High Chamber, so he should call them to the Diet Building for debate and approval, oh and I also need you to let Secretary Harold of Foreign Affairs know that he needs to find an Ambassador for Drakonaris by tomorrow. Whoever that Ambassador is is to meet Ambassador Orsino at the port right away and take him to the hotel before heading to Drakonaris . Got all that?"
The young man, an intern (and de facto secretary for President Ferris) and senior at the highly prestigious Paralogica City University, nods. "Yes, Mister President. It will be done right away."
Jeremy exits and calls Vice President Ishida's office to let them know of his task. He has been an intern for the President for almost a year now, and he knows that the Vice President will be swift to do his job, but due to the huge backlog of work the Department of Foreign Affairs was going through as a result of Paralogica opening for business, he knows that Secretary Harold of Foreign Affairs will not be as quick. As such, he thinks it more appropriate to confront the Secretary about his task directly so as to press the matter quickly. He finishes the call with the Vice President's office before using the underground passageway connecting the capitals government buildings to get to the Foreign Affairs Building.
He requests a meeting with the Secretary and is granted one after two hours. This may seem like a long time, but it is actually record time. Jeremy is usually left waiting in the lobby for at least six hours. Secretary Harold's own secretary, Linda, comes to the lobby to greet Jeremy. "The Secretary is ready to see you now."
Jeremy nods and follows her. While they're walking, he strikes up conversation. "How are things with the Secretary?"
Linda turns to him. "About as busy as ever. You? How is it with the President."
Jeremy smiles. "More or less the same."
They both chuckle at their shared struggles as secretaries of high level government officials before they reach the office of Secretary Harold.
As they enter the office, Secretary Harold sees Jeremy and sighs. "Oh great, this is sure to be a fun appointment. Tell me, Jeremy, what does President Ferris need?"
Jeremy speaks. "You need to find an Ambassador for the Democratic Republic of Drakonaris by tomorrow."
Secretary Harold sighs as he takes a sip of his coffee mug. "Consider it done. We're actually not as busy right now and we just got done making first contact with a few other nations, so what's one more? Anything else?"
Jeremy nods. "Let the Ambassador know that they are to head to the port immediately to escort Ambassador Orsino of Drakonaris to the Geisha Hotel before making preparations to head to Drakonaris as soon as possible."
The Secretary chugs all of his coffee. "Alright. Should be doable. If that's all, I'll have Linda escort you out and we'll get to work on finding an Ambassador."
Jeremy nods and Linda escorts him out of the office. As they walk through the building, Linda turns to Jeremy. "Are you gonna exit through the passage or the front entrance?"
Jeremy looks up. "I think I'll go through the front. I've spent a lot of time inside lately. It'd be nice to breathe some fresh air for a few minutes."
Linda smiles. "Yeah, I can relate."
There is a silence as they near the exit before Jeremy speaks. "Say, do you think you'll be free on Sunday? Wanna maybe get lunch? My treat."
Linda chuckles and nods. "Sure! Here's my number."
Linda gives Jeremy her number before he leaves for the Presidential Palace again.
Over the next few hours, the Department of Foreign Affairs works tirelessly to find a suitable Ambassador for Drakonaris, and their labors were soon rewarded when they found the perfect person for the role.
The next day, newly appointed Ambassador Yen pulls up to the Paralogic City Port in a motorcade and approaches the DRS Paarthurnax and speaks to a marine standing guard. "Hello, I'm Ambassador Yen. I'm here to meet Ambassador Orsino to escort him to the Geisha Hotel."
Kattenstaad
The Fifth Klasermanstadt Regiment was patroling the northern region of Klaser County when they stopped to check a wreckage. It was a metal ship like no other, with strange canons and foreign symbols on it. The colonel orders his men to investigate, but as he checks the ruins he sees creatures armed with weaponry unlike theirs. They line up and stand en-guarde, and the colonel yells at the outsiders.
"Identifizieren jezelfs, meowenstaanders!" He'd yell, hoping the stature of his cat brothers does not make them any less frightening.
The Chancellor presses a small button on the side of the microphone as he steps up to the podium. "Attention people of Tinbya Sierjan, I have called you all here today to confirm the signing of an economic agreement between us and our newly met associates within the Republic of Drakonaris. I ask that you all give a warm welcome to the Premier who hails from Drakonaris." After that is said the audience erupts into uproarious applause.
After the applause dies down, the Chancellor motions for you to come onto the podium. Once the Premier does come on the podium the audience goes completely silent, waiting for the paper to be signed. The Chancellor takes out a pen and puts it on the podium, which appears to be bordered specifically to hold papers.
The marine radios Ambassador Orsino who comes up and meets Ambassador Yen at the entrance to the ship.
"Ambassador Yen I presume?" Ambassador Orsino turns and walks towards the motorcade with Yen while they talk "Congratulations on your post ambassador, I know you will find Alinor to your liking. I hope you don't have a fear of heights though it is not called the city in the clouds for nothing."
Ambassador Orsino chuckles.

Many of the soldiers are confused, with some ready to fight. The sailors and ship captain have no idea what To do and raise the GMR flag to show that they are apart of and citizens of a country, the captain orders his sailors to calm down and waits to see what the regiment and it's soldiers do. The captain also hopes that their Dragon like accents don't make them seem as a threat and attack.

"Thank you for coming. First I want to say how grateful I am to all of you for welcoming me to your nation. While in the car with your chancellor today I got to hear all about your peoples history and the thing that struck me the most was your resilience. Through all the hardships your people faced over the years conquest by outsiders, being driven from your homes, you never gave up hope. It is that persevering spirit I believe unites our two peoples and why I am proud to stand here today on the eave of the ratification of this historic agreement. As I affix my signature today standing here with your chancellor and with all of you we inaugurate a new era. An era of peace and prosperity for both our peoples."
The Premier takes the pen and signs the treaty then passes it to the chancellor who signs as well. The crowd roars in applause.
"That is not all I am here for however" he looks out at the people raising his hand for silence "I want to extend you another offer right here, right now, join us. Join us not just in economic cooperation but in a full alliance! There is so much more that unites our people than what divides us and as my people used to say in days of old "the flying creatures of the world the dragons the birds and all are truly free as the borders that divide us do not apply to them. No bird or beast says to another we are different since we live on the other side of a line, no, only humans do that." That is why we ask you to join us both as one nation and one of many. The First Internationale an alliance unprecedented in the history of our world now unites the working people, standing strong as the hope of men and women everywhere that a better future is possible if we work together. What say you? Will you join us?"

The colonel would discuss with his subofficer before ordering the flag guard to present their regiment's flag. They are not sure what to do, as their flag is foreign and not of the many civilizations met by the katten over the years.
He'd try to speak to them again.
"Meollo, bist du nett? Bij miew ben jij?" He'd yell in a more friendly tone.
The PFS Toubou pulls up to the coast, just a fifteen minute walk to Greater Military Rule's capital city. They see a guard post, operated by soldiers. So as to not arouse conflict, Admiral Thoreau radios to the station. "Hello, this is the PFS Toubou requesting permission to dock. We bear a delegation from the Federation of Paralogica, here in response from your nation's request to meet a diplomat from ours. We do not mean any harm."
The soldiers calm down a bit but are still little nervous, the Captain responds back as best as he could without his accent "KzVe Cõnt Ă¼nterstald yao, zve ure krom u notiun culed, Greter Militar RĂ¼le."

After a few minutes of some screaming and stern talking, the soldiers are signaling the ship to dock, 3 Civilian looking cars with GMR Flag and Coat of arms on it and armed guards are waiting.

The colonel would take keen interest in the last words spoken. He'd put his subofficer to write it down and he'd turn to them to speak again.
"Groiter Militar Rul, is jouw natie? Meoauchst du ein Boot?" He'd say as he gestures towards a small fishing port where a few boats were parked.
With the captain still having some small problems understanding he decides to get a crudely made but working wooden table and chairs, puts them in the middle of both of the group's, sits down and invites the colonel to sit down.

The ambassador backs up a step as the emperors eyes glow but refocuses on what he said "oh right yes well we noticed quite a bit of rice when we were flying over perhaps that could be sold? We are also curious if you have technology infused with magic whether electronics or weapons. Those would be very desirable. We do have exactly what you need we pharmaceuticals. Drakonaris is the worlds leading manufacturer of most kinds of drugs needed for normal health use and some more exotic kinds as well. We only sell to official healthcare providers and pharmacies but hopefully that won't be a problem. We will also need assurances of your good faith of course and that you will not turn the generous support we are giving you through this trade against us"
The ambassador says a hint of patronage in his tone.
The Colonel would sit down, while ordering two katten soldiers to guard him. He'd be seen a bit cheery, most likely happy that this has not yet devolved to violence. He looks at the foreign officer and takes some paper and a pen from his subofficer.
He'd write "Groiter Militar Rul" on the paper. Pointing to it, he'd say Jouw natie and afterwards would write "Kattenstaad", continuing by saying Mijn natie.
"Ja?" He'd draw a crude shape of the island next to Kattenstaad, hoping the general understands what he means.
The Chancellor looks to the crowd and begins to speak "Ever since the Communes recieved this offer from Drakonaris, we have long since been eagerly considering a formal alliance with Drakonaris. I shall now speak for the Communes of Tinbya Sierjan when I say that we would joyously except this offer of alliance from Drakonaris. Now, as for The First Internationale, This offer will be brought up with the Communes after the duration of the Premiers visit has ended."
He stops speaking and lets the audience applause for a while, then waves his hand in the air for silence which is shortly given.
"Because of the newly signed agreement, we will persevere as we have many times before this moment. However, this time we are not alone and have assistance with our struggle both as a people and a nation alike. This is why I not only want the Premier, but any Drakonarian tourist or citizen either visiting or moving to our country to be welcomed with open arms. This marks a new era for our people and nation as we break from our isolationism and once again carve out a national identity for ourselves, this time will be permanent!" After this statement is made, the audience gives a nearly deafening applause, with some members of the audience throwing their hats in the air in celebration.
After muting the microphones, the Chancellor turns to the Premier and says "Welcome to Tinbya Sierjan" which can hardly be heard over the applause and celebration.
The captain understands, he takes out a map and show GMR, points to himself, he then draws Kattenstaad on the empty area with the colonels drawing and writes the distance between the two nations. He also draws to his nation in a way to show it as a militant people's dictatorship that wants to keep peaceful relations unless provoced, he also gets a picture of a dragon out of his pocket and says "oun Nätienil animel, Drakon."
Ambassador Yen chuckles in response. "I am not afraid of heights, I assure you that much. I grew up in the mountains of Toubou, closer to the Eastern coast of Paralogica. My hometown did not exactly excite me, so I went to college in another city for a political science degree and came to Paralogica City, hoping to land a position in the Department of Foreign Affairs. I never thought I'd end up an Ambassador for another country though, so I am quite glad to have gotten this post."
Ambassador Yen pauses before speaking again. "Anyway, we'll be taking you to the Geisha Hotel, where you will be staying as you oversee the construction of the Drakonarian Embassy. The hotel is just about the best we can possibly offer. It's the only hotel in Seifu, the ward which has all of the central government buildings here in the capital. As such, the hotel operates almost exclusively for government purposes, constantly used by politicians visiting Paralogica City from their respective States, it's conference rooms even used for meetings by political parties, and as I'm sure you can tell, we shall use it to house foreign diplomats should they not have an embassy to base themselves out of in our country yet. So, you can expect much comfort as your embassy is constructed."
Admiral Thoreau orders the ship to dock and exits with Ambassador Gonzalez and four marines.
The group walks up to the cars and the Ambassador greets the guards. "Hello, I'm Ambassador Gonzalez from the Federation of Paralogica. I'm here in response to your nation's request for a diplomat from mine. I take it that you're here to take me to your leaders?"
the guards nod and gesture them all to get in the cars, the ride to the city is normal but in the city the streets are almost empty from cars, with people going about their daily lives, biking, walking and using public transport, with the occasional car being either a police, military or government vehicle. the Militant nature of the nation is easy to see, with police having medium to heavy body armor and high caliber pistols, military police armed near governmental building and embassies with assault rifles and machine guns. the posters about anti pacifism and being ready for any threat at all costs, the atheist and anti religious posters and sentiment is easily felt too. The driver in the middle car where all the high ranking officials are says in a dragon accent "Velkome to GMR, itz defrend from everytwinc elze yau magt imakinz." a translation translates the accent into something that the delegates might understand more clearly in a text. (Welcome to the GMR, its different from everything else you might imagine.)

Admiral Thoreau has a wary look on his face, but Ambassador Gonzalez keeps a cheery demeanor. "I'm sure that there is more to your nation than meets the eye. Besides, you are one of our neighbors and seem to be somewhat established on the world stage. I want to make sure that we begin our relationship on the right foot."
The Ambassador takes a sip from a water bottle he brought along and looks out the window. Despite whatever his opinions may be, he knows that he must push them to the side and be cordial, representing Paralogica as best as he can.
"You are too kind ambassador I was not expecting this" the Ambassador Orsino says "I will of course take advantage of the accommodations offered but please give your superiors my heartiest thanks for their hospitality." The ambassador turns towards the door of his room to go in before turning back "oh and Ambassador Yen, when you get to Alinor head to the rim hotel and ask for the view room tell them I sent you if you grew up in the mountains you will appreciate this." Ambassador Orsino turns back and heads into his room "I should let you get to your ship ambassador and I should freshen up before I am called to the high chamber. Enjoy the trip!"
The ambassador waves goodbye before closing his door and getting out of formal attire. He begins to prepare a statement on his laptop for the high chamber meeting thinking fondly on his days as chair of the local interest committee for Arlathen the small mostly elven town where he lived. He had not delivered a speech to a legislative body in a long time not since those days since diplomatic affairs usually are conducted between heads of state and their ambassadors with the terms fully finalized before they are sent to legislative bodies for approval.
"Thank you chancellor I regret that this visit must be so short but I must return to Drakonaris tomorrow. Perhaps you will come to Drakonaris to deliver the news of your peoples decision about joining the Internationale personally. It would be an honor to show you around our capital of Alinor and I have no doubt that with news halfway as positive as those we delivered to the people here today mine will be just as enthusiastic to greet you."
The Premier smiles and waves out to the crowds before turning back to the chancellor "do you need to take questions from press or shall we retire. I have heard your nation has wonderful cuisine so I am looking forward to sampling some of it."

Antov's Challenge to Doga
The day was a chilly one, one in which you have to wear a coat, and everyone in the capital was wearing one. An armored town car pulled up to the entrance of the Assembly Hall, the building where all of the MPÂ’s gather to vote and voice their opinions, it was a repurposed cathedral with all religious symbols thrown out and the pews replaced with rows of curved tables for members to be seated. It has buttresses and arches all built in the gothic style the church was so fond of, with a second layer above just for a dome upheld by marble carvings of great men and saints. On top snapped the red and purple of the Republic, flying high over the entire city. Below, surrounding the town car, was a mob of protesters mostly clad in black that was quickly herded by police behind barriers. Stepping out, came Antov Sutherland, a former Popular Army captain, the hero of Lenshaven, and chairman for the United Liberal Front. He wore his old grey greatcoat removed of any military honors or adornments and without his iconic blue star officers cap. His face was strong and covered with a thick black full beard, a scar runs down his cheek, and his eyes that of a kind but tired man. Behind him was an entourage of security personnel and an annoying insistent aide giving him every detail of everything happening that crosses his ears. They walked up the stairs of the assembly hall, giant marble steps that gave way to holy ascension. At the end of those steps used to meet thousands of church-attendees a herculean statue of the Grey Emperor, but now replaced with a common militiaman standing victoriously with his boot on a ruined crown. And guarding the two massive doorways were agents of the BIS, all dressed in black khaki or a coat with a rifle slung behind their backs. He was disgusted, making a face of disdain towards them as they searched his body for weapons.
Inside the Hall was a spacious and vast interior, a place that can hold thousands of attendees at once for a single sermon. There, the dome is raised hundreds of feet above their heads, beautifully and immaculately painted with images of the heavens and countless battles of decades past. In the middle of the building was the lowered basin of green carpet where the head speaker and podium resides. And with low stairs connecting it to rows and rows of arched seating arrangements with the MP’s staring faced forward at the podium. Doors on the side lead to the theater-like boxes above them, allowing those invited to any session to watch with awe at those deciding the fate of the nation. Today it was quite packed, after all it was his speech to address the current state of affairs. MP’s and other notable figures of interest mingle near the doors, waiting for the session to officially begin by the speaker. He looked to his right, and on the theater box was the president talking with his VP. It was noisy, the sound of different conversation about policy or vacations and glad handing taking place. “Ah the man of the hour!” One of his ULF allies said, then a group of clamor around Antov for a while. But then the signature gavel of the speaker banged and signaled the start of the session.
"Today on the session floor, a speech and proposal on the amendment of Article II Section VIII of the Constitution of Anercia made by Mr. Antov Sutherland. Sir you have the floor.” The Speaker boringly spoke with cadence that of a paraplegic drill sergeant. He cleared his throat and began to speak, “Today fellow members of the noble assembly, we have gathered here to discuss the compromise made with our 'allies' during the most critical time of our republic.” He said. “It has been months and with great progress our nation has been restored to even greater glory, but the need of that compromise is no longer present. Now it is time to get what we have bargained for, our democracy.” Antov passionately explained. There the crowd had a mixed reaction, mostly boos from the All-Left Socialist Party side of the Congress. His own party largely cheered, Mikhal from the box seemed mad and squinted furiously against Antov. “Stand with me! The amendment that has shackled us must be broken and repealed, stand for what we fought and shed blood for!” He ended the speech with the demand for change. “Mr. President take down that bill!” he spoke directly to Mikhal, looking at his eyes with fury.
“Now time for remarks by the parties.” The speaker turned to the seats of the assembly. First it was the chairman of the ALSP, which was Mikhal Doga himself, “Do not speak like you know more than the people of this country! The people in the most weakest time in our previous capitalistic republic sought to rid themselves of the Fascha and seize the means of production. The ALSP will bring the peoples will of creating a metropolitan utopia at least one step closer. So do not use the word democracy again Antov, for you and your liberal ilk seek to grease the palms of capital above the welfare of our citizens!” He strongly rebutted against him. The Revivalist League chairman, Maxil Rogan, an obese and sweaty man, rose from his seat with vigor, “No! The chairman from the ULF is correct, this country has moved to the far-left and we're suffering for it, the President is a communist dictator!” He loudly accused Doga. “We must remove the powers that gives this dictator his strength!” He waved his finger around with a righteous zeal. The speaker banged his gavel thricely, “Please calm yourself Mr. chairman, or we will have to kick you out.” Maxil reluctantly slumped down into his seat. The Scarlettan Rose party, a single MP got up, all eyes looked at her, a beautiful red-headed but passionate woman in her late twenties stood confidently “The SRP agrees with the Chairman from the ULF, we need democracy and we need it for all peoples, scarlettans included.” Some of the conservatives snickered at this comment. The rest of the session was a back and forth from nearly all of the members, and was adjourned as all of them were content with their remarks. Antov went back to his Town Car, weary from the day he watched out his coach window some of the black-clad guards staring intensely at him. What will happen now that he directly opposes the president and his powers? Will he too disappear like those journalists he kept track of?
Ambassador Yen bids Ambassador Orsino goodbye and quickly heads to his apartment in Hikari ward to pack. He then calls Secretary Harold to let him know that he is ready. The Secretary arranges for a delegation to be sent on the battleship PFS Antonio. Within the hour, they are out to sea, headed for Drakonaris.
The next day, Vice President Ishida is in a motorcade headed for the Geisha Hotel. She has enough High Chamber Members to begin debate on the agreement between Paralogica and Drakonaris now and she must now escort Ambassador Orsino to the Diet Building to be present and make his case in the debate. Though, from what she has heard, she doubts there will be much resistance.
The motorcade pulls to the front of the hotel and the Vice President exits with two secret service agents. The Vice President approaches the front desk. "I'm Vice President Ishida. I'm here to see Ambassador Orsino from the Democratic Republic of Drakonaris."
The man at the front desk looks through his computer. "Okay, head to the thirty-ninth floor and go to room 394."
The Vicr President nods. "Thank you."
They head to the room as instructed and knock on the door. "Ambassador Orsino, this is Vice President Ishida. I'm here to escort you to the Diet Building for the High Chamber debate on our two nations' agreement."
The Chancellor nods in response, saying "I would love to visit your nation and capitol to see all it has to offer, particularly in the technology front as you have seen the people in Tinbya Sierjan have a very clear fixation on technology and not being 'behind'".
He then continues on after the applause dies down more "We don't need to do any press interviews, everything from our speeches was already recorded by the information based Commune. You can stay a while within our borders, just be sure to get let the ATC and Honor Guard know when you're leaving. No need to get anything cleared with them as they already have seen both your face an uniform." He then walks back inside, being followed by the other Commune leaders and a few Honor Guard, taking a direct route to the central structure.
A request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the diplomatic organs of the Paralogican nation, to build embassies within their capitals.
Majice sits at his desk, writing numerous replies to other foreign powers, as he sees a gaggle of dragons flying toward the castle. Using a bit of magic he sharpens his vision, revealing to him the dragons have riders. The riders appear to bear the same symbol as the Drakonaris reply. He quickly gets up, pats off some loose feathers off his cloak and beard, and heads down to meat the riders.
He bows in front of them before speaking.
"Hello you fine folk! My name is Majice Perris! Allow me to welcome you to Lastus McKinnon! I'm afraid our Lord is away at the moment, but I would be more than happy to sit and chat with you over some Ki-Ale. Finest drink in all the country!"
With a wave of his hand, a small group of pigeons bring down a platter with chilled cups in it. Majice offer them to the riders with a cheerful grin
Majice's assistant: Alice Maker meets the pigeon with a surprised look.
"What's that you've got on you there?" She asks the bird. It coos at her, and it's eyes are filled with disdain. "Captured? Really? And they put this odd flashing disk on you huh? Doesn't seem like there's any magic on it at least"
She takes the note from the pigeon. After reading it she calls to two new foreign relation recruits. "You guys go and find these coordinates, use this map..." She looks around the room before grabbing a rolled up paper, "Here. All you have to do is speak the coordinates on this map and it'll show you how to get to the desired location. Off you go now!"
The two young wizards go off on their way to find the supposed meeting place; Finally reaching their desired location they wait to see who will arrive
The cars stop Infront of the parliament and the delegate and marines are asked nicely, do step out, the parliament is an older looking building being kept in best condition as possible, across from it is the old parliament that was destroyed by a terrorist attack a long time ago with a plaque reading "Terror will never break our nation, but only make us stronger. May the 475 MP that died in the attack rest in peace.". the Parliament building inside is beautiful and the marines are asked to keep their weapons holstered at all times, the Delegate meets the leader, a man in traditional GMR military Clothing's and a welcoming smile says jokingly "Welcome, I hope traffic wasn't bad. My name is Rasmus, but you can call me Ras, nice to meet you Ambassador Gonzales."

Alice watches as another pigeon returns from a far. She sighs as she peers down at Majice as he entertains a bunch of dragon riders. She looks at the pigeon, "I know you guys are all magiked by him. But man is being his assistant a bore....No I mean I like working with you guys...Yes I like to hear about the foreign nations...Ok ok! The job is fine!"
She takes the note from the pigeon and reads it. "Ah another new nation, interesting."
She drafts a response, having one of the pigeons fly it down to Majice for approval before sending it off.
"Dear Secretary Harold,
We would be delighted to have your delegation visit our fair country! Here is a map providing the location of our castle. We're a bit strung thin here so please excuse us if you have to wait for a meeting!
Sincerely, Majice Perris

"Blau-flossen fisch, unser nationaltier." He'd say as he presents a special military banknote, with a blue and white ornate fish as its main design, followed by a number 50, pointing towards said fish with his paw. Afterwards, he'd take a look at the outsider's map, before mapping their nation's borders on another map, given to him by one of his katten brothers.
While this was happening, two katten soldiers light two cigarettes and smoke it while whisper-talking with one another. Others stood their ground and kept an eye on the outsiders.
The captain tries to understand what the Colonel is saying, two unarmed men in different sailor clothing appear one having a red cross and the other having a wrench and hammer insignia on them and the salute the captain. The captain raises a finger to notify that he's gonna listen to his men quickly after they tell the captain they get back to work and the captain looks calmed and even somewhat happy. He explains as best he can to the Colonel that they are gonna have a bit of a bigger boat come to retrieve their vessel and them and he also explains that they are low on food supplies.
The colonel understands the captain to an extent. He orders three of his soldiers to go and retrieve some food from a local town to feed the sailors on their journey. He then takes out a pack of cigars and offers one to the captain.
"Sigaar?"
the Captain says no in a friendly tone saying he doesn't smoke and is allergic to tobacco, he plays out that if he smokes the cigar he will start having breathing difficulties to show that its dangerous for him too smoke.
"Of course, its good to meet you Madam Vice President I am looking forward to seeing your High Chamber for myself I hope that they will be as amenable to the agreement as your president was."
He takes his datapad and a bottle of water and follows Vice President Ishida back to her motorcade. "I am curious Madam Vice President" ambassador Orsino says turning to Ishida in the car as they drive to the Diet Building "how much do you know about the agreement? I worked extensively on it with your President yesterday but I wouldn't blame you at all if you haven't had a chance to be briefed this whole process is moving a long remarkably quickly considering the circumstances."
Paralogica
The Premier stays the rest of the day and the next morning touring sites in the city eating the unique food and meeting with individual commune leaders to test the waters about support for their nation joining the internationale. At about mid day the Premiers aides notify the ATC and Honor Guard that they are leaving to return to Drakonaris and they take to the air flying back to their city for the late afternoon.
The Vice President keeps a straight face. "Paralogica is a nation that runs efficiently, but companies have to pay respect to the rights and safety of employees. And while statistics clearly show that such respect actually increases productivity, companies often want to find loopholes and ways to exploit their employees, on the false belief that doing so will increase productivity. As such, our government must be as efficient as possible to stay ahead of such malicious interests. The Great Collapse furthers this sentiment even further, however, to the point where the government is too efficient, to the point where many government employees' health begin to deteriorate. However, we must not rest, because we know that if we do, the bottom line of Paralogica, the working and middle class, will suffer for it. So, you can expect a pretty high level of efficiency from our government, but like everything else in life, it doesn't come without a cost. And with the high level of efficiency we have, it has a high cost at that."
The Vice President is silent before speaking. "Anyway, yes, I have been briefed on the agreement. I have my own opinion on it, but that opinion is irrelevant unless I am needed to break a tie on a vote. Also, I doubt that I will be needed anyway. The High Chamber is more than likely to approve, and though there will be minor resistance, that will be negligible."
"Honored to be here as well Mr Perris" The ambassador says. The ambassadors and riders sit down and drink the Ki Ael relaxing and hanging out with Majice. After a while the ambassador says "so, tell me of your land Mr Perris I admit my government was surprised to hear from you, via carrier pigeon no less and your note gave us pause to be sure. Is Lastus the name of a person or a nation?"
The ambassador stares at Mr Perris questioningly curious to understand more about his unique nation.
"That's good at least. I know this agreement will help your people and I am glad that your high chamber seems to agree. I had no idea about how your government employees were suffering trying to maintain the standards of efficiency necessary to prevent legal violations by corporations. Maybe technology will be able to help them, increasing their efficiency without making them work harder. Either way I wish you luck in however you end up dealing with the problem."
They arrive at the Diet Building and head inside the ambassador looking around

Premier Poole arrives back in Alinor at around 3pm landing in front of the palace of the people at the top of the pyramid hanging gardens he is immediately confronted by a gaggle of reporters and officials.
A frazzled commissariat of communications official approaches and manages to push her way between the premier and the reporters "I am sorry sir she whispers we tried to contact you on your trip but we weren't able to. Quite a bit has happened since you left. I am afraid despite our best efforts they insisted on speaking with you when you landed. Short of having the guards remove them by force there wasn't much I could do. I am really very sorry."
"Nonsense" Premier Poole replies loud enough for most of the reporters close to them to hear "you know I am ok with talking to them if you can just get them to give me a bit of space to let the dragons fly off I will take as many questions as I can."
The reporters step back a few steps still trying to point their microphones at the Premier as the dragons fly off their wings rustling the papers all the reporters are carrying and causing a few to scramble to pick up their notes. "Alright I can take questions now one at a time please" the Premier says keeping his tone good natured and light as he points to a man in the back with a small dragon pin marking him as part of the state affiliated media "he moves forward as he is called "How was the trip to Tinbya Sierjan Mr. Premier we heard you received a strong reception can you tell us a bit about that and what exactly happened?" Some of the reporters stifle groans or roll their eyes someone in the back whispers "just like the staties to throw him soft balls." The Premier raises his hand for silence then says "Thank you for the great question Mr Garland, the visit was a resounding success we have secured an agreement with the communes of Tinbya Sierjan that will be mutually beneficial to both of us allowing us to support their development and we got rights to their gold mines. I also had the opportunity to make the official offer of alliance and Internationale membership to the communes. They are now officially our allies and will meet in the next few weeks to consider internationale membership." There are some scattered cheers but most remain focused.
Now the premier calls on another reporter a women not wearing the dragon pin this time "Mr. Premier we have received reports that Scarlettans in Drakonaris have been crossing the border into Jesrurix to aid in Rose Coalition attacks on Anerican outposts what can you commit to doing to stop this aggression against our allies without alienating the Scarlettans who live in our lands or violating the local ethnic autonomy act which they say protects them from any reprisal?" The Premier clears his throat before answering "Thank you for your question Ms. Halander Drakonaris remains firmly committed to supporting our allies to the north and ensuring peace and stability along the border. To that end I look forward to conferring with my officials and seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict that respects Scarlettan autonomy as well as Drakonarian and Anerican law" the premier pauses to take a breath and the women jumps in "You haven't answered the question Mr Premier I asked what can you commit to doing to stop the aggression." "As I said Ms. Halander I will confer with my officials we will seek a peaceful resolution ensuring that the voices of Scarlettans on both sides of the border are heard but that they understand that the violence is not acceptable." The women looks ready to speak again but a look from the commissariat officials tells her that her time has expired. The commissariat official now takes the mic "I will answer all further questions at the briefing this afternoon at 5 o'clock" The Premier walks away. Some of the reporters attempt to follow but security blocks their path until the Premier is inside.
The moment the Premier gets in the door the Deputy Premier rushes out looking flustered "Good to see you back sir" he says smiling gratefully. "I trust affairs are in order here" the Premier says his tone level a marked contrast to his still out of breath deputy. "That is debatable sir, we have things mostly under control in terms of actual administration but just barely and with so much going on at foreign affairs I have had scarcely a moment to spend speaking to the members of the central committee, not good considering..." "I know Lucius" but don't worry we will get it done and now that I am back at least for the moment you have your window to do what you do best" the premier says smiling and slapping his deputy on the back good naturedly as they walk together through the building up to their offices.
Drakonarian soldiers cautiously approach it holding their weapons ready but upright not pointed at the creature. They motion for the Elybian guards to come over hoping they will know more about what this thing is.
("Well do you have any advice?") the ambassador asks the old man translating. ("How do we meet him if we can't fit in your cities?")
"Be not afraid. I seek no harm upon you. I am only interested in protecting the princess"
One of the soldiers steps forward not threateningly but just curious "what are you creature? How did you get here?"
the generals look curiously at the birds but say nothing about it "Alright your maj-Enjel we must return to our headquarters now that your safety is secure and the city is seemingly calming down we will be in touch with the Elysium order and you soon to coordinate food distribution."
They wave goodbye and leave for now heading back in armored cars to the Drakonarian military HQ
the angel says. Even tho the angel only has one form, the perceived form of the angel depends on what the person who looks at them believes a angel to look like
The Emperor pauses a look of annoyance flashes on his face for the briefest of seconds the glowing eyes unchanged, his poker face returned he discards the crystal using telekinesis to place it back on it's gold pedestal. "Yes we have plenty of rice more than enough to the point a large portion goes into storage or even to waste each cycle." He stands in silence for a moment observing the ambassador "Magic infused technology... yes it exists but it would not be of use to your nation, scientists have found our magic takes a lethal tole on practitioners not of Nuldin blood and no your concerns of selling it to official healthcare providers are not a problem I assure you that won't be a problem. As long as your nation is not hostile or attempts to subvert Hokaidoi or it's allies then the results of this trade shan't be used against you."
Then a voice enters the ambassadors mind piercing through his mental defences like a knife through butter "I hope what I have said has alleviated your concerns." The Emperor still stands there awaiting a response still adorning a face of emotionless boredom.
Deputy Premier Lucius Afir steps into his office and breaths a sigh of relief. His Premier has returned at last relieving for a short while at least the burdens of dealing with the endless communications coming in from all the national subdivisions plus the foreign heads of state. With this crisis in the mountains brewing he is sure that his premier will be back on the move soon to deal with that but he hopes that whatever time he has now will allow him to focus on what he loves best though his Premier seems to pay it startlingly little heed, the central committee.
Speak of the devil, he thinks as he hears a knock on his door and Laura Samuels enters. "I am glad to find you here and not on the phone no less. I was hoping that with Poole back in town you would have more time to speak with me and my colleagues. We missed you at the weekly chess tournament yesterday. James beat all of us yet again no surprise there without you to take him out of the running."
The Deputy Premier gives a slight chuckle "ah yes James our mutual friend how is he doing?"
"his chess game is getting stronger if you can imagine but he becomes more and more paranoid about the northern team says they play to recklessly. I would like to think he is wrong but some are starting to wonder, with the red king in check should we not at least consider our options before we bring in our knights?"
Lucius grimaces and shakes his head looking back to Laura "Tell James, our mutual friend that if the red king falls the white may not necessarily be any better"
Laura smiles again a sly look crossing her face for a moment "I will but remember what I told you James's chess game grows stronger with each day and even you may not know the true color of every pawn." She gets up gives a cheery wave to Lucius then exits leaving the deputy premier alone once again to consider her words.
Lucius sits in silence for a few minutes occasionally scribbling things in his notes but otherwise doing little else. Then he picks up the phone to call the premier. The phone rings a few times and he worries for a moment that the premier won't answer but then the response comes "yes what can I do for you Lucius."
"Premier you need to go to Jesrurix as soon as possible. Leave tomorrow if you can and make it an official state visit you might need to be there a while."
"Central Committee stuff?"
"yep I will have my secretary leave a note on your desk make sure you grab it before you leave it will explain everything. In the meantime I will be assembling your entourage make sure you are ready to leave at as early as possible tomorrow."
"I will." The Premier hangs up and the Deputy Premier heads to the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs.
Linda walks the halls of the Foreign Affairs Building, headed for the Secretary's office with news. She opens the door, only to see the Secretary asleep at his desk, holding a half-finished cup of coffee. She looks at the clock on the wall and sighs. "4 am. Didn't know it was so late myself. Time passes by different in here I guess. Still, can't believe he fell asleep here."
She shakes Secretary Harold awake. "Secretary, we have an update on Lastus McKinnon."
The Secretary slowly opens his eyes and looks up. "Oh, okay."
He sticks out his hand. "Give me the letter."
Linda is worries about him, but she nods and gives him the letter. "Yes, sir."
The Secretary reads the letter and speaks. "Alright, guess we have the go ahead to send the assembled delegation to Lastus McKinnon."
Linda nods. "Shall we send a response back as well? To let then know the delegation is comming?"
The Secretary nods. "Yeah. Get the new Ambassador to do it. No need to review the response."
"Right away, sir."
Linda leaves and arranges for the delegation to be sent to Lastus McKinnon.
The next day, newly appointed Ambassador Garland pulls to Paralogica City Military Port in a motorcade. He approaches the PFS Inasaka and greets the marine standing guard. "I'm Ambassador Garland. Shall we set sail for Lastus McKinnon?" The marine nods and escorts the Ambassador into the destroyer. They begin setting sail to Lastus McKinnon, the Ambassador's message having already reached the fledgling nation:
"Dear Duke Perris,
We have received your response and have sent a delegation to your nation on one of our battleships: the PFS Inasaka. You can expect them within a few days depending on when you get this letter back. We look forward to establishing friendly relations with your country.
Sincerely,
Ambassador Garland from the Federation of Paralogica"
The PFS Inasaka sails for a few days before arriving to the location stated on the map. They attempt radio communication on local frequencies. "Hello, this is Admiral Warren of the PFS Inasaka requesting permission to dock. We come bearing a delegation from the Federation of Paralogica. We mean no harm."
They then stay put, waiting for a response.
Vice President Ishida gestures to a large door on the right. "That is the entrance to the High Chamber. It is the upper house of the Federal Diet. One of my roles is to serve as it's president."
She then gestures to another door on the left. "That is the Low Chamber. Its equivalent of a president is called the 'Voice of the Low Chamber,' which is a member of the Low Chamber voted on by other members of the Low Chamber."
They enter the High Chamber, it's grand architecture depicting almost mythical looking figures and creatures. Its seats, empty and numbering approximately fifty in total, are positioned in a semi-circle facing a bully pulpit and a multi-level stand, which itself has seats designated for certain uses.
The Vice President motions toward the bully pulpit. "That is where you will make your case regarding the agreement to the High Chamber."
She then motions toward a seat in the lower right of the stand. "After that, you will sit there and observe the debate and vote which follows. Any questions?"
"No, I am ready"
Paralogica
The Premier picks up the phone and dials the number of President Doga "Good evening Mr President sorry for the late call I was hoping we could talk. You remember the invitations you have sent me to visit Anercia in the past. I think its time I take you up on that offer. With all thats going on right now I think it could be beneficial that we talk in person. What do you think?"
The President awakes and answers, "You're going to come up north huh? Deal, but since you interruptted but I want your finest dragon rider to pick me up to your capital so we can discuss matters on the way to valesord."
The ambassador looks shaken by the mental assault but attempts to keep his cool "It has but please do not do that again" the ambassador says making his voice level and firm despite what just happened. "This deal will work we will facilitate the transfer of pharmaceuticals to you and you will send rice to us. Now the only other thing we might consider is whether you need aid surely a nation like yourselves while strong in magic could benefit from modern infrastructure. We could extend you loans so that you can develop yourselves and in exchange we get some more resources like whatever that crystal is perhaps that could have properties useful to us" the ambassador says walking up to examine the crystal for himself.
The Premier rolls his eyes inwardly "I suppose that can be arranged though it seems a bit foolish a dragon rider will take you to Alinor then we can ride the rail to Valesord. They will arrive in the morning so do try to be awake"
The premier ends the call before going to the residence to pack it in for the night
