Each nation is unique and run differently by different leaders, but defining the culture of Refugia itself is lead by the Councilor of Culture.

Also itÂ’s often culture in the sense of fun and games and orchestrating entertaining ways to spend time in this game.

We are better at triple jump, we won the Olympic Gold with Pedro Pichardo last time, if I remember well in the final or semi-final his smallest jump was bigger than eveybody else jumps.

And in the Edition before thatn I think we won gold with Nelson Évora.

We also have Patricia Mamona in the womens triple jump, she is pretty good...

So yea... Portugal is good at jumping... it's what where we get more medals (but we also have medals in other sports).

Culture election time omg. I think Luca said already but I am term limited and thus won't be running again, but I'd like to encourage anyone who might be even slightly interested to give it a shot. I'd be super excited to see what a new Culture Councilor would do, and would be open to helping any new faces to the position with the role, so don't be afraid to run!

My feelings on fishing change depending on the game.

Fishing in stuff like Animal Crossing I hate cause I've got to pay attention and time it in order to catch anything. Fishing in Sims is great though cause I just leave them to it.

Hi, I'm Junitaki-cho. You may remember me from such World Assembly events as "Protecting the Rights of Labour Unions" and "Information for Voters: Condemn Dilbert." I'm here today to announce my candidacy for the Councillor of Culture position.

You know, we stand on the doorstep of a new millennium, and the first place to invest is in our own communities. My goal as Councillor of Culture is to push for greater intraregional interaction and camaraderie, with more regular game and movie nights as well as periodic gameside competitions. But I want this connection to come from you, not the elites in the regional council. I'd like to encourage more sharing of suggestions for games members could play together, movies we could watch, deep and volatile issues we could debate, and more, so that the individual members of the region have a hand in shaping our collective culture.

Additionally, I'll lobby management for one or more of the following goals:

- More Wordle posting

- Less Wordle posting?

- An eco report, whatever that is

- A chance for you - yes, you - to influence the appearance of the region

- An official statement on ferret ownership

The period for candidacy in the Councillor of Culture election has concluded. During this time, I received two valid candidates for the office, one from Djorner and one from Junitaki-Cho. Both of these candidates will appear on the ballot.

Voting is now open for the Councillor of Culture. Vote today at https://vote.calref.network/vote/23. The election ends Feb 21[sup]st[/sup].

I am abstaining on the GA proposal at vote (It is worded beuatifully and extremely well, but I oppose euthanasia on religious principles).
