I challenge Chacapoyas candidacy, I myself place my name upon the candidacy sheet and I believe its time I myself too give back to refugia, I can't stand the appaling nature of people such as Omegaforce and others and I wish to be able to take a place in government of refugia in order to take charge and assist refugia as the Operations Councillor! I speak for the trees in their native language of Wucelapan and I believe The trees are with me, although if Chacapoya does gain this seat the trees will kneel to them.

Given that the Ops Councillor is defined as having responsibility over "developing and executing strategic operations to use and expand the Region’s influence, internal and external threat assessment, and maintaining the registry of Member States." (RRS 6), what are your -for lack of a better word- pitches on how you'd approach those responsibilities? Your flavour of councilloring, as it were. Chacapoya, Subadent.

As Operations Councillor, I would strive to ensure unity in our region, making sure no members feel unsafe or unwelcome, and to help build a sense of community both on and off the RMB.

Another important facet of this would be to curtail actions of nations with ideals counter to ours within our region, ensuring we reach our environmental goals as well as keeping offensive groups from derailing connections in the region.

As far as external issues, I believe we could start to become a more active group on the international stage, with optional participation in defense and liberation actions, thus building goodwill and an awareness of our region. I would also like to have the option to have member nations propose embassies in the RMB after tourist trips, in order to further our connections!

Since Refuge Isle’s successful WA resolution and our participation in Z-Day, we have seen a massive growth in population, with a majority of nations that have joined being amenable to the region as a whole.

And the last issue, security. We have just encountered at least two nations that were not great fits for our region. An important part of this position would be to occasionally review new nations to ensure that they would be a good fit here, and if not, point them to a region where both they and we would be more comfortable.

Any suggestions on how we can make our economy... Y'know... Functional?

The economy system is kinda complicated. My best guess about how it works is that you can have capitalism or socialism as primary policies. With capitalism, economic freedom helps out, with socialism, business subsidisation helps out. In either one, your economy can be powered by any industry or series of industries. For me, it's mostly information technology and book publishing. If I can make either of those go up, it's good for my economy. Meanwhile, my agriculture is like -24, so if anything makes that go down, it affects me none. So being consistent with the specialisations you want to have will help out.

I'm afraid not, but fortunately there are generally follow-up issues after a while that give you the option to change your mind. Give it a little time and soon you'll be able to reverse that policy.
